The Space Show Mourns The Loss Of Our Good Friend Declan O’Donnell

The Space Show is very sad to announce the Oct. 1, 2015 passing of our good friend Declan O’Donnell. I first met Declan in the late 1990’s when he helped me with space law issues and the UN treaties when I was working on my dissertation. We were friends ever since,

Declan was a true space visionary and leader. His ideas on space governance were years ahead of his time and his formation of the United Societies In Space (USIS) was truly at the forefront of space governance. USIS had participants supporting it from around the world and whenever Declan appeared on The Space Show to talk about USIS, his programs were not just well liked but huge hits among our global audience. In fact, I urge you to use the GuestSearch tool and go back and listen to all of his interviews as Declan was an amazing space advocate, visionary, leader.

Declan will be missed by all of us.

A memorial service will be held Friday, October 23, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Emmaus Anglican Church, 995 N. Ridge Rd, Castle Rock, Colorado.

You can correspond with the funeral home and leave a message for the family by following this link:

Pictures and any new information will be posted.

Rest in peace my good friend.
